Zenagen's Guide to a Sunday Reset
Sundays are all about having the perfect balance of relaxation and organization. You want to have your Sunday Fundays, but also want to get your life in order enough to beat the Sunday Scaries. Here is your reference for your Zenagen-approved Sunday routine!
Go for a Hot Girl (or guy) Walk
Start the morning off with a “hot girl walk”. Put on your best matching work out set, listen to your favorite podcast or playlist, grab your dog or your best friend, and walk your heart out. Walking is a great way to refresh and reset before going into the week. Plus, it burns calories, encourages a healthy heart and has been known to boost your immune system!
Clean the House
After your walk, come home and clean the house. We can all agree that this may not be the most fun way to relax on a Sunday, but there is nothing better than going into a new week with a freshly cleaned house. Use this time to dust, vacuum, mop, and catch up on laundry and dishes. Even if you don’t have time to fully Marie Kondo your entire house, just tidy up. Put things away and clear flat surfaces. You’ll be amazed how much better you feel with less clutter around. But, here’s the main event… wash your bed sheets! Slipping into clean bed sheets after you've taken ‘that’ shower is nothing short of pure bliss.
Take THAT Shower
Now that you have gone on your walk and cleaned your house, you may be feeling a little dirty. Now’s the time for THAT shower. You know the one. The shower with the works. You shave, exfoliate and do your complete Zenagen hair care routine. Maybe you even throw in a deep conditioning treatment! Just don’t forget to put on the ultimate shower playlist!
Pamper Routine
Continue the pampering after the shower! This means using all of your serums, doing your full skincare routine, a face mask, plucking your eyebrows, painting your nails. This pamper routine is yours to create! You could even throw in a hair mask before your shower. Here is a tutorial for an at home hair mask!
Plan the Week / Meal Prep
Planning out your week is one of the most productive ways to go into Monday. Whether this is on google calendar or pen and paper! Plan out things like your meals, grocery list, meetings, errands and appointments. By planning and meal prepping ahead of time, it saves you so much time during the busy week. This way you won’t have to make that last minute grocery trip or spend time chopping up vegetables for dinner.
Relax
After you have had the most productive reset day, it’s time to unwind! Light a candle, take a bubble bath, drink some wine, binge your favorite Netflix show, start a new book, or all of the above. Whatever your choice of relaxation may be, you deserve it!
