Reduced fading between coloring, but did not help with Gray

"I have a great patch in the front of my hair that I absolutely dislike. Hoping this would kind of help that area. I have use this shampoo for a month, while I do color treat my hair. I did not notice any improvement in the gray patch. With that being said, I did notice that my hair did not fade as quickly between appointments. The shampoo does a really good job at cleaning my hair and reducing any residue, I do wear hair extensions, so I do see a bit of buildup as I don’t wash my hair every single day. My hair feels healthy, soft, bouncy so as far as the shampoo’s quality I would say it’s pretty good. It smells good and has a light mild scent that isn’t too floral or sweet or two overwhelming. It is on the pricier side so I’m not sure it’s a great value for the money, but it is a good shampoo overall."

"This smells great and seems to be working well so far. It cleans the hair well and feels like it actually softens my hair too. It’s not too drying but makes my hair feel clean with a single wash. It does have silicones in it so keep in mind you may have to clarify every now and then if you’re using this a lot. It is sulfate-free though so it’s not super drying. Not the best value at this price point as you really don’t get too much product. It does work though!"

Especially good for extensions!

"Love this ZENAGEN Eclipse Color Preservation + Gray Support Shampoo and especially when used with their conditioner. I have a lot of light-colored hair extensions, and when you have hair that processed, it's difficult to keep the color in the cuticle (or no cuticle, if it's Remy hair). This shampoo is a nice, gentle bath for the extensions without getting overly aggressive in stripping color. With any extension that you wear long-term (at least blonde ones), I just expect to have to eventually tone them, and will use special chemicals to do that, along with the most conditioning color available. But until then, kind washes are in order and Zenagen is great for this. It's also great for keeping the color intact in my natural hair, which has been accruing more and more hard-to-color gray every year!Very hydrating - hair feels nice and moist, no static. Keeps those cuticles looking smooth and shiny. Color shines brighter with a smooth cuticle. Good value size on this bottle - absolutely a good value for the money, especially if it can help me keep my extensions in rotation instead of becoming someone else's short extensions!Keeps hair looking plump and moisturized, and keeps those colors true without any brassiness. Seems to add some thickness - perhaps just a conditioning coat? - to hair so that it looks lively and vibrant."

Decent size bottle

"This is a decent sized bottle of shampoo. I really enjoy the scent as well. My lady has blonde hair that is fairly fine with some gray coming in so she wanted to try this. She has been using this shampoo daily for a few weeks now and has noticed some difference but not a lot. Her hair does seem more shiny and bright. I'm sure she would need to use it for an extended amount of time. I'm not sure this will be possible given the cost of the product so I can't say it's a great value for the money. I do like that it's a thick shampoo with a pump for one handed operation. She has not used any other gray specific shampoo to compare but the scent is amazing."

"Shampoo for gray hair feels few and far between. I only gave a few grays myself, but I want to make sure they’re taken care of. They don’t dye well. This shampoo works fine on my hair. My hair feels soft after I use it. The scent is pleasant. It lathers and rinses very nicely. After a few washes my grays are still gray, but my hair looks good. I’ll keep using it."

"Small bottle with only shampoo no conditionerMild fragrance tangerine, not over poweringIt didn't feel heavy on the hair, but I had to use another conditioner so can't tell if it's the combo. "This shampoo really does have a better ingredients list than many. It cleans effectively, yet gently and left my hair shiny. Requires a slightly different method than most with the short wait time before rinsing. It is a pricier product but is meant for a very specific use and seems to work for that. The scent is very mild. It's not my favorite and has a slight chemical touch to it, however, I prefer that as if feels much more honest and straightforward than the ones that have an overpowering scent hiding much poorer quality ingredients."

"This is a wonderful, luxurious shampoo. Great for hair color reinforcement, with an excellent lather. It has a wonderful fragrance, adds a lovely shine and luster, and feels so soft and very clean. "This is wonderful shampoo! Way better than I was even expecting. It lathers beautifully and the odor is not overwhelming like some.
