How to Apply Zenagen Densifying Hair Serum—and Where the Derma Stamp Fits

How to Apply Zenagen Densifying Hair Serum—and Where the Derma Stamp Fits

Zenagen Densifying Hair Serum is a lightweight, water-based scalp serum formulated with CO₂-extracted botanicals and designed for direct-to-scalp application.

In a 4-month clinical study, participants applied Densifying Hair Serum directly to the scalp twice daily. At the end of the study, 93% reported healthier-looking hair and 83% reported visibly fuller, thicker-looking hair.* Visible changes were observed in as little as 8 weeks.*

How you apply a scalp serum matters. Here’s how to use Zenagen Densifying Hair Serum correctly, what the clinical study protocol looked like, and where the Zenagen Derma Stamp can complement your scalp-care routine.

How to Apply Zenagen Densifying Hair Serum

1. Start With a Dry or Towel-Dried Scalp

Apply Densifying Hair Serum to a dry or towel-dried scalp. The goal is to target the Serum directly where it is designed to be used: the scalp, not the lengths of the hair.

2. Part Your Hair Into Sections

Create sections throughout the hair to expose the scalp. Working section by section makes it easier to place the Serum directly on the scalp rather than depositing most of the formula on the hair.

3. Apply the Serum Directly to the Scalp

Using the dropper, apply Densifying Hair Serum directly along each part.

You don’t need to coat the lengths. Keep the application focused on the scalp.

4. Massage Gently—And Don’t Rinse

Use your fingertips to gently massage the Serum into the scalp.

Densifying Hair Serum is a leave-in formula, so do not rinse after application.

5. Follow the Recommended Application Frequency

Use Densifying Hair Serum once daily as directed.

In Zenagen’s 4-month clinical study, participants applied the Serum twice daily.* Twice-daily application describes the protocol used during the clinical study; everyday use should follow the current product directions.

How Often Should You Use Zenagen Densifying Hair Serum?

Consistency is an important part of evaluating any ongoing hair-care routine.

Zenagen Densifying Hair Serum is designed for regular scalp application rather than occasional use. Follow the recommended directions consistently and give your routine time before evaluating changes in the appearance of your hair.

In the clinical study, participants were evaluated over four months, with visible changes observed in as little as 8 weeks.*

Hair doesn't change overnight—and a few applications can't tell you what a consistent routine can.

Where Does the Zenagen Derma Stamp Fit?

The Zenagen Derma Stamp is a separate scalp-care tool designed to complement your Densifying Hair Serum routine.

Importantly, the Derma Stamp was not part of the Densifying Hair Serum clinical study. The Serum's clinical results should not be attributed to use of the Derma Stamp.

For those incorporating the Derma Stamp into their scalp-care routine, use it 2–3 times per week on a clean, dry scalp.

How to Use the Zenagen Derma Stamp

1. Start With a Clean, Dry Scalp

Begin with clean, completely dry hair and scalp.

2. Disinfect the Derma Stamp

Before each use, disinfect the Derma Stamp according to its care instructions.

3. Part the Hair Into Sections

Part the hair to expose the scalp and work systematically, one section at a time.

4. Press Gently

Gently press the Derma Stamp onto the scalp, moving section by section.

There’s no need for aggressive pressure. Follow the product directions for proper use.

5. Continue With Your Serum Routine

After using the Derma Stamp, apply Densifying Hair Serum according to its product directions.

After each use, clean and disinfect the Derma Stamp according to its care instructions and allow it to dry completely before storing.

Do not use the Derma Stamp on irritated, inflamed, or broken skin. If you have existing scalp concerns, consult an appropriate professional before use.

When Can You Expect Results From Densifying Hair Serum?

Hair changes happen on their own timeline.

In Zenagen’s 4-month Densifying Hair Serum clinical study, visible changes were observed in as little as 8 weeks.* At four months, 93% of participants reported healthier-looking hair and 83% reported visibly fuller, thicker-looking hair.*

Rather than evaluating your routine after a few days or weeks, consistent use over time gives you a better opportunity to assess changes in the appearance of your hair.
