Face Framing Curls

Whether it is in a bun, a braid, or just an untidy cluster, if you’re more comfortable pulling your hair back, consider loosening things up a bit. Try pulling out a few sections to frame the front of your face along your hairline. If you lightly curl the front pieces, it will instantly give the style a softer, more subtle overall appearance.

Hair Flip

We are obsessed with this look, and here’s why. It’s such a classic style that is also very versatile. You can wear your hair in this style if you’re in sweats or in your favorite LBD. To achieve this look, curl hair with a 2-3″ curling iron and gently brush out waves to get this fabulously loose look. Spritz a tiny bit of hairspray to set the curls and flip into place.

Volume, Volume, Volume

VOLUME

Let’s talk big hair. It’s so true how fashion and style are on a constant cycle of repetition, and we think big 80s hair is here to stay for a while. Can we please all agree that Zendaya is absolutely killing this look?! The bigger the better, and she executed this look to a T… and that’s the tea. Hairspray, texturizing powder, and dry shampoo are your friends with this look!

Take your time tightly curling small sections of your hair and letting them cool and set before touching. We recommend 1/4″ to 1/2″ sections for the most volume. Once your curls are cooled, tease and brush curls until their at your desired messiness. If you’re looking to try a new products that are sure to add volume and texture be sure to check out our Boost Thickening Texturizing Powder  and our Boost Thickening Volume Foam!

Shoulder Length Curls

If you have been thinking about cutting your hair, we agree that now is the time to do it. The short, shoulder length bob is on-trend right now, and it’s perfect for effortlessly adding in soft curls. To do this, all you need to do is use a 1″ to 1 1/2″ curling iron to curl the ends of your hair in thick sections. Brush lightly to add a softer curl at the ends and set with hairspray.

If you regret cutting your hair and want to grow it out faster, we recommend using our Evolve shampoo and conditioner line that grows hair up to 40% faster.

Romantic Curls

We’ve said it once and we will say it again. The Romantic curls with front pieces pinned look is a look for the books. It’s truly a look that anyone can rock with the right accessories. It’s modern yet traditional and always stunning. Curl your hair in the same fashion as the shoulder length curls above, but part your hair in the middle or to your preferred side. Pin back with your favorite accessory. We love the current pearl and bejeweled clips. PROTIP: After curling your hair gently run your fingertips through to create a soft look.

All on Top

All on Top

This look is great for those with thick hair. We love a put together messy bun that looks effortless, yet pleasing to the eyes. If you have thinner hair, using a sock or foam circle will help your hair to appear thicker and fuller. Make sure to pull pieces out throughout the bun and in the front of your face to add texture and make it look effortless.

1/2 Up 1/2 Down

We adore this look because it is just so dang classy. Our favorite part about this look is that your front pieces are out of your face but your hair still looks down. If you ask us, that’s the best of both worlds. The bigger the curling iron you use with this look the better for a more polished look. Be sure to brush out the curls and flip your head over to add extra volume.
